Disembarking the Penelope!

There are myriad ways to get to the floating city of Stereopolis, but the fastest is by Golden Barge. It's also one of the most expensive. Unless you take the budget option: the automated cruise liner known as the Penelope. As the Convenient Commuting Corporation claims in its depositions, the Penelope cruise completes its journeys 95% of the time. If you're hard up, what's the actual likelihood of dying in a flight failure? In spite of the statistics, you (the adventuring party) now find yourselves in the enviable position of receiving a large settlement... assuming you survive the "malfunction". But getting off a barge that's nearly split in two by its own enchanted sail? That's not as easy as it sounds.
